Milly,Tang Sou-Py,Hsueh Hui-Ying Group Exhibition
“Every creation under the pen feels like a trial of every step; this ‘path traveled’ is filled with mountains, rivers, and love, recording not just traces but also the state of mind in the moment.” — Milly
When inviting the three creators for this exhibition, we discovered their keen observations and unique attitudes toward life through their works. With their profound experience in illustration and diverse forms of expression, they transform inner imagination, words, and stories into visual narratives using their brushes.
Milly began a regular routine of hiking and daily painting after concluding her exhibition “Flowers in the Greenhouse” and scaling back most of her workload. Hiking introduced her to landscapes she had never appreciated before. Through her physical experiences and brushstrokes, Mili captures the scenery and moments of everyday life.
Hsueh Hui-Ying starts with the plants on her balcony, extending her inspiration to roadside scenery observed during her outings. These uniquely Taiwanese landscapes often compel Hui-Ying to pick up her pen and draw, as if embarking on a small, solitary journey with nature.
Tang Sou-Py while organizing nearly five years of work, noticed how her creative use of colors and brushstrokes evolved with changes in her identity and mindset. For Shu-Pi, life itself is the best source of inspiration. Her artworks are a record of unforgettable journeys and profound memories.
These three creators, each highly acclaimed and with extensive artistic experience, offer a glimpse into the stories and fragments of life through their works. We are delighted to explore life’s narratives through their art.
