ART EXHIBITION

Dedicated practitioner of improving architectural ecology.
– Treasure Dragon Corp.

In the early autumn of 1990, the year after Treasure Dragon was founded, the affiliated Galerie Pierre Art Center opened its doors. Since then, a close integration between Treasure Dragon and contemporary art has emerged. Upholding the philosophy of enhancing living quality, Treasure Dragon collaborates with its affiliated entity, the Galerie Pierre Art Center, to execute the planning of public artworks for the Gendii community. This partnership infuses the communities developed by Treasure Dragon with a rich artistic ambiance.

We believe that architecture serves as a driving force of aesthetics, advancing civilization forward and shaping the unique character of each era.

When architecture fully merges with art, it becomes difficult to distinguish between the two. Looking back, from the birthplace of the Renaissance in Tuscany to the pyramids of Egypt; from the Guggenheim Museum to the Forbidden City, what often leaves us in awe are the remnants of a fusion of architecture and art spanning millennia. Reflections on history have clarified the architectural principles for future generations. This has been Treasure Dragon's steadfast direction since its first project: a harmonious dialogue exists between the earth, people, and architecture—one of integration, not opposition; it is a fusion, not a barrier."

Treasure Dragon's first project, the Treasure Dragon Apricot Building , was completed in February 1992. The entrance staircase was adorned with artist Michell Hwang's painting, "Sound of Spring" (No. 120). The tenth project, The Harveston Gendii, featured sculptor Den-Chuan Yu's "Childhood Series" sculptures, thoughtfully placed from the corridor to the courtyard garden. Each piece of art emerges from serendipity and inspiration, rather than deliberate intent.

Consequently, there is always a natural elegance and tranquility in the interplay between Treasure Dragon and art. The presence of each artwork is not intended to showcase wealth, but to nurture the soul, allowing those who move through Treasure Dragon's architecture to discover joy through unexpected encounters.
