Galerie Pierre 32th Anniversary Exhibition

The formation of a “home” lies in both the composition of its family members and the construction of its architectural space.

The 32nd Anniversary Exhibition of Galerie Pierre , titled “Homeⁿ”, is curated by Professor Hsu Yuan-Ta, featuring the works of 12 artists. Each artist explores the imagery and concept of “home,” using diverse creative forms and materials to define and express its meaning.

The exhibition is divided into two themes. The first, “Materials, Structure, Household, Settlement,” features works by seven artists: Chuang Pu, Fang Wei-Wen, Chen Ming-Te, Chen Po-Yi, Chen Chien-Jung, Lin Shu-Kai, and Chen Wei-Jen. The second theme, “New Gender Roles, New Immigrants, New Identities,” showcases pieces by five artists: Huang Ming-Che, Wu Geng-Chen, Cheng Ren-Pei, Tsai Jui-Heng, and Hsu Chun-Yu.

Through a rich and diverse array of materials, the exhibition highlights the architectural foundation that provides stability, safety, and longevity to the concept of “home.” Simultaneously, it emphasizes that a home is built through love, with each type of love bringing together unique family members to form different kinds of homes.
