ART TAIPEI 2024: Galerie Pierre Presents “This is Taiwan” at Booth H07

The 31st ART TAIPEI 2024 officially kicks off on October 25th. Galerie Pierre will showcase two main exhibition sections at Booth H07 under the central theme "This is Taiwan 台灣面向展". The presentation features Wang Sing-Dao’s paintings alongside the debut of his new three-dimensional series "Banana Outing(蕉遊)", as well as selected masterpieces from Galerie Pierre’s collection, including works by Yang Mao-lin, Mei Dean-E, and Hong Tien-yu.

Yang Mao-lin, Mei Dean-E, Hong Tien-yu, and Wang Sing-dao reflect on Taiwan’s political, social, and natural environment through their distinctive approaches to artistic content, forms, and materials. Yang Mao-lin’s "MADE IN TAIWAN" delves into Taiwan’s natural landscapes, species, ethnic diversity, and historical culture. Mei Dean-E's Dada-inspired works explore political identity, while Hong Tien-yu critically examines human encroachment into Taiwan’s mountain forests through his "Critical Landscapes". Meanwhile, Wang Sing-dao constructs imaginative spaces that reframe perspectives.

Together, these artists chart their unique paths, presenting their Taiwan perspectives through deeply personal and creative lenses.
