To celebrate the 10th year of the “A Joyful Rendezvous” program between the aiwan Action Bodhisattva Education Association and the students, They held the first “ Love in Love - Road Running and Picnic Day” on the 21st in Taichung Central Park, where more than 2,600 people joined in the running and walking, making for a very lively scene.
The event also featured tea eggs, fish ball soup, bread and beverages, stage performances, and a lottery, making the road running a carnival.
The event also arranged a special donation ceremony, in Taichung City Vice Mayor Huang Guo-rong supervised the handover of the event, the main committee of the Lily Chang Road running registration fees totaling nearly 4 million yuan, donated to the Action Buddha Scholarship Association of Taiwan, and by the chairman of the board of directors of the Chen Wu-hua on behalf of the recipient, will be all the use of scholarships for students in remote villages.He said that Taiwan Action Bodhisattva Education Association was established 20 years ago, and that it is very meaningful to quietly pay to help children in remote villages to study. Lily Chang said that this was the first time the association organized a road running, and not many people signed up at the beginning, but later members of the association and their efforts to call, attracting many people to participate in the run for love.
