Taichung City Teacher Chang Foundation awards ceremony

Taichung City “Teacher Chang Foundation” held the volunteer “Teacher Chang” certification and award ceremony. With the theme of “Being persistent with kindness, letting love continues”, Vice Mayor Huang was invited to attend the awards presentation, which included the Taichung City Outstanding Service Team Award and the Senior Volunteer Teacher Chang Honorary Retirement Award.

Vice Mayor Huang said that each volunteer Teacher Chang is an important guardian of the public's mental health, using their actions and time to fulfill the phrase “being persistent with kindness,letting love continues,” as the first line of defense for the gatekeepers of life, and together they guard the mental health of the public.

Taichung City “Teacher Chang Foundation”, Lily Chang, said that a total of 149 volunteer “Teacher Changs” were recruited at the activity site, and commended the volunteer “Teacher Changs” for their depth of service and outstanding performance. The two winners of the Honorary Retirement Award are both 70 years old and have served for more than 15 years, and have continued to work hard and irrigate the needy with love; the winner of the Lifelong Honorary Counseling Service Award has served for 40 years and has served for 8,106 hours.
