Taichung City Teacher Chang Foundation Announces More Than 80,000 Service Visits in a Year Revising the Age of Service Next Year

Teacher Chang Foundation announced that it has served more than 80,000 people over the past year,

Taichung City Teacher Chang Foundation today announced the results of its services for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, with more than 80,000 cumulative visits, and in the 2025 fiscal year, it will expand its services from 12 to 24 years old to 10 to 24 years old. Chairwoman Lily Chang said that in the future, the center will go into campuses and communities to become the warmest and strongest support for young people. She expects that next year's innovative services will be more in line with the needs of the young people, guiding them to enter the channels of help and find their own ways to let the love continue.
Taichung City Teacher Chang Foundation held a press conference on “Doing Good Without Distance‧Loving You Without End-Let Love Continue”. The press conference was attended by Chairwoman and Chairman of Treasure Dragon Corp , Lily Chang, Executive Director Jia Zheng Lin, former Municipal Education Bureau Superintendent Guang Min Chang,Education Bureau Supervisor Dai Li Liu, Teacher Chang Foundation CEO Xi Min Tu , General Manager of the Productivity Group Fang Min Chang, Chairman of the Chumken Realty Company San Qi Chen, Psychologist Yi Hui Xin, and Parent Representative Qiong Hua Lin, were all present.
Jia zheng Lin pointed out that the Taichung City Teacher Chang Foundation's service achievements from 2023 to 2024 include serving 30,000 people and putting in 207 volunteer teachers, organizing 200 public welfare talks on campus mental health and serving more than 51,300 people, assisting 27 junior high schools in remote and rural areas or educational priority areas with 2,827 new students, and serving 1,054 students from eight colleges and universities to talk to volunteer teachers.In addition, according to the results of a survey on youth depression conducted by the Center, it was found that the number one cause of stress among young people was academic pressure, which accounted for about 64% of the total.
Dai Li Liu said that Teacher Chang Foundation has reached out to the grassroots of the society and is looking forward to more partners to become a strong support for the youth.
Yi Hui Xin pointed out that teenagers due to hormonal changes, emotional fluctuations and especially impulsive, and eager to be independent and seek recognition, coupled with the face of interpersonal relationships, schoolwork, parent-child conflict and other external pressures and challenges, if they are more vulnerable, sensitive, the accumulation of pressure, once detonated, it is easy to generate undesirable ideas, so the most fundamental is that the emotional education should be rooted in the young, guiding the child to understand, be aware of the emotions, learn to Emotional management and care.
