Huang Chongdian, the city government's secretary-general, said in his speech that Taichung has always attached great importance to international academic exchanges. Sir Peter Cook, who came to Taichung to give a speech today, was the teacher of Zaha Hadid, the architect who once competed for the Guggenheim Museum in Taichung. His architectural works and creativity are quite outstanding, and he has been committed to architectural experiments and education for many years, which has had a profound impact on global architectural culture.

Sir Peter Cook has long been passionate about architecture. Since founding Archigram in the 1960s, he has challenged established thinking within the architectural community, inspiring countless young architects with his vibrant, imaginative, and collaged hand-drawn images. His work is more than just a spatial composition; it serves as a laboratory for thought, provoking a rethinking of the relationship between architecture and the city.
