The Taichung-based "Teacher Chang" Center released the results of a survey on adolescent sexual values and shared its practical experience in adolescent mental health services in recent years. Chairperson Chang Lily stated that "listening attentively and accompanying with love" has always been the core of "Teacher Chang's" services. They hope that through continuous companionship and professional support, adolescents will no longer feel alone during their growth and will make safer choices in relationships.

This survey shows that about 70% of teenagers have a correct understanding of sex education, but about 20% said they "don't know," and another 10% have misconceptions. Nearly 10.6% of students also agreed that consensual sex is permissible to satisfy the physiological needs of both parties. Is it illegal for couples under the age of 16 to have sexual relations, even if they are consensual? Nearly 10.5% answered incorrectly, and a high percentage (16.3%) answered "don't know."

Chairperson Chang Lily emphasized that prevention is better than cure. "Teacher Chang" will continue to be the warmest and strongest support for teenagers and their families through the 1980 hotline, school lectures, and diverse mental health services. She sincerely hopes to infuse more love into their lives and cultivate their strong minds from a young age. During the event, a copy of "Youth Strategy" was presented to the Taichung City Education Bureau, symbolizing the commitment of public-private partnerships to protect the mental health of teenagers. Education Bureau representatives, Supervisor Liu Dai-li and Specialist Jiang Jia-xuan, also stated at the event: "Children at school not only learn knowledge, but also need love and companionship."
