When the century-old culture of the old city meets modern psychological support, it will spark a warm dialogue that blends art, humanities and public welfare.
The "Echoes of Love in 1980" charity exhibition tour, after receiving enthusiastic responses in Taipei and Taichung, has officially arrived in the ancient cultural capital of Tainan. It will be on display at the century-old historical building "Tainan Dugushi Fangzhai" from June 25 to 29, and an opening press conference will be held on the morning of June 27.
Despite the light rain on the opening day, the event still attracted people from all walks of life. Many key figures who have been dedicated to public service for many years, including Ge Yongguang, Chairman of the Zhang Teacher Foundation, Liu Zhaoming, Honorary Chairman of the Tainan Zhang Teacher Center, and Xu Guorun, Chairman, attended in person, demonstrating their decades-long enthusiasm for supporting mental health work, which was truly touching.

Construction industry leaders cross over into creative endeavors, transforming art into a force for public good
The biggest highlight of this charity traveling exhibition is that three heavyweight business leaders in the construction industry are exhibiting their works together as artists for the first time. These include Chang Lily, President of Treasure Dragon Construction; Zhang Zhonghong, Chairman of Productivity Construction; and Wu Chunshan, Chairman of Liming Construction.
The event was initiated and coordinated by Chang Fang-min, General Manager of Productivity Construction, who has long been committed to promoting public welfare. He hopes to realize the concept of "psychological care × art charity × ESG social good" by combining artistic creation with charity auction.
The three entrepreneurs interpret life, nature, humanity, and architectural aesthetics through photography, sculpture, and art creation, respectively, and donate their works to charity, making art not only for appreciation, but also an important medium for healing hearts and giving back to society.
A century-old house transformed into a healing space, creating a beautiful urban landscape
This exhibition has specially chosen the historical building "Tainan Duan Gu Shi Fang Zhai" located in the West Central District of Tainan as the exhibition venue. It hopes to create an "environmental education" space that combines cultural, aesthetic and psychological healing functions by integrating the cultural heritage of Tainan, the old house space and the art exhibition.
Organizer and curator Chang Yu-cheng said that he hopes that through the "Echoes of Love in 1980" charity touring exhibition, art can become an important force to accompany people's hearts. Through cross-domain cooperation of architecture, culture, art and psychological support, a humanistic healing space for Tainan can be created, allowing more people to find happiness and warmth in the city.
Three cross-industry forums followed in succession
During the exhibition, the "Echoes of Love from 'Teacher Zhang' in 1980 - AI Co-creation of Aesthetic Social Space for Education in Tainan" series of forums will be held concurrently, with Wang Meixia, founder of Southern Lecture Hall, serving as the moderator.
The first session this afternoon was given by Chang Lily, President of the International Federation of Real Estate Associations (FIABCI) and President of Treasure Dragon Construction, who spoke on the topic of "Art in Healing Psychological Spaces" and shared how artistic creation can heal the mind and enrich life.
The second session featured a presentation by Chang Chung-Hung, Founding Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Business Association and Chairman of Productivity Construction, on "Life Education from a Microscopic Perspective: Creating an Educational Environment," exploring the value of life education from the microscopic perspective of nature.
The third session featured Tu Hsi-min, General Manager of "Teacher Chang" Cultural Company and CEO of the Foundation, who spoke on the topic of "Enhancing Arts Philanthropy and Creating a Shared ESG Society." She explored how psychological support, arts philanthropy, and corporate sustainability can be combined to create more positive social impact.
The organizers sincerely invite citizens to step into the century-old house during the exhibition and feel the healing power of "Echoes of Love in 1980" amidst the interweaving of art, aesthetics and history, and together compose a trilogy of happy life belonging to Tainan.
