The journey of Hezhen Residence still feels vividly close to our hearts.

Looking back to the early days of planning, this place was once a quiet piece of land. Standing on the site, watching the wind move gently through the trees, we discussed and imagined together: how many people would begin a new chapter of life here, and how many moments of laughter and warmth would slowly fill this place over time.

From the very first line drawn on the blueprint to each stage of construction brought carefully into reality, every detail went through countless rounds of thought and refinement. To us, architecture has never been simply about completing a building, but about creating space for the life that will unfold within it.

Preserving the site’s natural greenery and cherishing the camphor trees that have stood here for years was also a reminder to ourselves: people and nature are meant to coexist with mutual respect and companionship.

Over the years, we have come to believe more deeply that a truly meaningful home does not need to be extravagant; it simply needs to offer peace and comfort. When sunlight slowly moves across the windows, when a gentle breeze drifts through the community, and when returning home brings a sense of calm and belonging — that is the kind of home we have always hoped to create.
