It is designated as the “Gendii Forrest Gump Environmental Protection Day”, through cleaning up the environment around the community, reminding residents to do their part to love the earth and make the living environment better! In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of this activity in our lives, and to ensure that the spirit of loving the earth and being environmentally friendly never drops, we are handing over the baton to the management committees of each community in Gendii to organize their own activities, and we hope that everyone can actively participate in promoting ESG.

In 2017, in response to the Taichung City Government's Beach Cleaning Day, residents were invited to clean the beach at the Taichung Daan Beach. By picking up garbage physically, the residents were able to educate the public about environmental protection, and in turn, they were able to develop a habit of reducing garbage in their daily lives, so that the spirit of “Love  Earth｜Going Green” would never be lost!

Forrest Gump Day 2020 has always been an event to show love for the environment, cherish resources, and protect the earth in the Gendii community. Due to the new Crown Pneumonia outbreak, in line with the central government's anti-epidemic measures to reduce the number of clusters, we will cooperate with the “Old Shoes Save Lives International Christian Concern Association” to organize the “Gendii Family Old Shoes Save Lives Love Collection Activity”.
